 Sled Dogs

Sled Dogs

For thousands of years, sled dogs helped Eskimos survive.  The native people used sled dogs for land travel, hunting, trapping, and transporting goods.  The thick-haired dogs also accompanied explorers to the North and South poles.  Sled dogs continue to work in remote areas of the arctic.
